Coachella 2010

I'm sorry for the delay with this. We started with a new website for uploading and it took a long time. If anyone has heard of Coachella you know what a great summer show it is. For those of you that don't the big show is held in Indio, CA where many bands perform over a long weekend. People camp out and stay the whole weekend to hang at the parties and see the bands. We got an inside look from Paul Medley, our Special Correspondent for the day. Take a look inside Coachella. Thank you so much Paul for the report.

Summer Must See TV

If you're a TV watcher like me then summer time can be hard because every show seems to be on re-runs. Not now there are quite a few shows this summer that are great. The best thing about summer shows is there not competing with your other shows you watch all year. This summer I am watching some great shows and more shows to come next month.
Ok here's what I'm watching:

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE on FOX...love this show. It's great for the whole family and makes me wish I had stuck with dance growing up.

THE CLOSER on TNT...What an amazing cast and show. You have to watch this one. I didn't get into it till two seasons ago I think. Now I can't stop watching it.

PERSONS UNKNOWN...This show is kind of got a LOST vibe if you were into that. I really like the cast and trying to figure out what is going on. They were all brought to this town and woke up at a hotel. It's very interesting. You can watch previous episodes online.

TOP CHEF D.C on Bravo...I have watched this show since the beginning. Although this season hasn't been as great. I'm not attached to any of the contestants yet. But it's still great.

KATHY GRIFFIN: MY LIFE ON THE D LIST...Kathy is hysterical. This last episode was one of the funniest episodes. I am putting a clip below.

I used to hate the summer because of re-runs but now there is some great shows to get me through. If you have shows you're watching let me know.

Undercover Karaoke with Jewel

This is a great idea. Funny of Die came up with the idea to dress up Jewel put a fake nose on her, homely clothing, etc. She went to a karaoke bar where she sang. No one knew it was her but they were amazed by this girls voice. Now Funny or Die is pitching it as a TV show. I would watch it but may get old they would have to spice it up a bit with each episode. New Sharktopus Trailer

Syfy channel's new movie Sharktopus is coming to a tv near you. The trailer just came out today. You guessed it the creature is half shark, half octopus. My friend Kerem stars in the movie. Take a look at the trailer. They don't show much of Kerem but as we get more news we'll let you know. Congrats Kerem!!

Old Spice Commercial

Ok I have said it before but I love this guy. I saw him on Ellen and the way he came up with his voice. Has anyone really ever paid attention to Old Spice? I bet you are now. OWN Show Audition in the OC

This past month has been overwhelming for me. I have been dreaming of having my own show since I was 6 years old. When this Oprah Winfrey Network opportunity came about there was no hesitation to try. I want to thank you all for your amazing support. As of now I am almost at 40,000 votes. I still have a long way to go to make the top 5. Even if I don't make it I am not stopping to make my dream a reality. Thank you all so much for your support and votes.

I put together a little video to show you all some of what happened that day. I hung out in my car from 11pm on Friday and was up till about noon on Saturday. I got in line around 4 AM. It was a crazy day but so worth it. I hope you enjoy the video. Also here is a link to the Oprah site where there is a video of the audition they put together see if you can find me?? In The Heights Coming to LA

I am so excited that the Broadway musical In The Heights is coming to the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. I have wanted to see this show for so long. I know all the songs now I just have to see the show....hint hint.

The Tony Award winning show will be hitting the LA stage starting June 22. I am also excited to say that Tony Award winner creator, composer-lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda will reprise his lead role of 'Usvavi' when the show hits the LA stage at the Pantages from June 22nd through July 11th.

I am hoping that I finally get the chance to see the show. It has the most amazing songs. It's a great mix of new style with hip hop and rap. It's amazing that's all I can say.

Open Casting Call for the Musical Rock of Ages

Tony nominated Rock of Ages the Musical is holding an open casting call for the first national tour. If you're in the Los Angeles area and always wanted a chance on stage in a Broadway Musical here is your chance.

They are looking for comedians, great rock singers and dancers. Be there May 13th in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Methodist Church.

Auditions are open to men and women ages 18 - 50. It's open to Equity and Non-Equity performers

ROCK OF AGES will open in Los Angeles at the Pantages Theatre for only 2 weeks from February 15-27, 2011.

Sandra Bullock Baby News!!

Sandra Bullock announces a shocker to "People Magazine" she has adopted a son. She adopted the child from New Orleans and brought him home in January. The plan was to make the announcement after The Oscars but that is when the bomb dropped about her husband's affairs. She has adopted the baby boy as a single parent. She has also filed for divorce from her husband Jesse James. It's amazing that she was able to keep this adoption secret. Take a look at this.

Glee Does Madonna

Two things I love are coming together Madonna and Glee. The Glee cast will be performing Madonna songs on an upcoming episode. The CD is out now but there is a sneak peak online of some of the songs. Fantastic!! So excited I can't wait to see the episode. Maybe Madonna will be making an appearance soon as a guest star.

Glee on Oprah

Two of my favorite things came together yesterday on TV Oprah and Glee. In case you missed it....well, it was amazing. I wish the Glee cast would have sang more. There was a special extra performance I found online watch it below of the cast singing "Don't Stop Believing". I can't wait for the Madonna episode coming up soon and they also announced they will be doing a Lady Gaga episode as well.
